You have to remember that the Sicilian Marionette productions were given
with Italian =93Street=94 language which is quite rough and crude.

I have seen approximately five or six Sicilian companies and all use made up
language to fit the general story line. I have never seen one of these
translated.
Usually they will run something like this,

Knight: =93Hey you, you want your head chopped off?=94

Saracen: You think you can do it, eh?

Knight: (swinging his sword) you betta bulieve it.

Saracen: Take this you mongrel (stabs knight in chest and blood spills out
over the floor).

Knight: You bastardo! You cut my heart out! (slumps to floor)

(Enter Orlando)

Orlando: You killed my good man, swings sword at Saracen (head falls off and
Saracen slumps to floor)
                        Take that you son-of-a so and so and so on=85..
Hopefully you get the gist. So all you really need is the story line, four
foot high 80 lb puppets, one heck of a strong Marionette stage and really
strong back.

The shows go on and on, if attending bring several hero sandwiches, two
bottles of wine and there you go=85 Bud
