Subject: [Puptcrit] Opera dei Pupi


Magnificat Baroque Orchestra has just posted an article about pupi in  
relation to the upcoming collaborative performances in California's  
Bay Area:

This performance is based on a canto from Tasso's "Orlando Furioso".   
Because both the repertoire of Opera dei Pupi and the plot for this  
baroque opera are inspired from the same classical literature, it  
makes a wonderful choice for staging with Sicilian marionettes.  Hope  
some puptcritters can make it to the show!
