I have seen him perform a couple of times at a festival in Austria that we were performing at. His work was amazing and in some cases macrabre, definitely worth seeing, but I can't say that I was personally moved in any way.

I am trying to find some information on puppeteer Stephen Mottram. He doesn't seem to have a website. I found some Youtube videos in which he displayed some incredible marionettes. On the other hand, although they were ingenious, they only seemed to be able to do one kind of movement: one crawled on his hands & knees, another swam. Very specific and limited. But still, eye opening.
