The steel, copper and nickel-silver Knight Alan refers to was created for a 
myth story 'The Legend of Longeth' choreographed to electronic music. It was 
indeed inspired by the Sicilian rod marionettes. It was premiered at the 
1964/'65 New York World's Fair. Jim Henson did a video presentation with the 
Knight and Kermit on a local TV station to advertise the 1963 PofA national 
festival which was held in the now defunct Morningside Hotel in Hurleyville, 
NY. Jim and I co-chaired the festival..... Bud
