Joe, it sounds like you are getting your "facts" from Glen Beck. Did you
know that the U.S. has the highest dialysis death rate in the world? We're
# 1, we're # 1. Last year, a study comparing preventable death rates in
19 industrialized countries placed the U.S. last. We're # 19, we're # 19.
(However, we do execute more people than any other country - we're # 1,
we're # 1)
Of the 19 countries, France (yes, commie, socialist France) had the
best health care system, followed by Japan and Australia.
Joe, I have friends in England, Canada and Belgium (as well as puppet
friends in many other countries), and to a person they would not switch
health care systems with us, and are baffled that the American people are not
demanding universal health care.
One final thought - during the 8 glorious years when Bush and the
republicans held the white house (those very same republicans who are saying we
now need health care reform), guess how many of those republicans proposed
any sort of health care reform? Any guesses? The correct answer is below:
None - Zero - For 8 years of republican rule, no health care reform
was proposed. I wonder how many people died, or went bankrupt, during those
8 years? That doesn't sound very christian to me.
     Bob N
