Subject: [Puptcrit] Mini Flashlight for puppet theater


Hi all. I finally got a mini maglight, after years of wanting one since I 
lost mine at a halloween party mere days after I purchased it.

This new one is an LED mini maglite, and it works great!

It has a candle mode, which is a feature Iv'e always loved about some models 
of the Maglite series.
That candle mode makes it a nice diffuse yet crisp light source, enough I 
think for small scale shadow shows. The new settings on the LED model add to 
the fun, such as the 25% power mode for a subtler lighting, and the blinking 
mode for a slow strobe effect.

That maglite is just one more step for me to someday making my puppet show 
in a suitcase project.
Easiest would be a shadow show, but I am more inclined to a small 3D puppet 
approach.
Maybe a mix of both...

I'd love to make this my only light source, the show otherwise performed in 
the dark.
