The performance is by the Gair-Wilkinson Marionettes
The bearded chap is Arthur Wilkinson - brother of Walter (who wrote all the
travel books)
The lady is his wife Lily Gair
The other man in all probability is Walter himself.  He worked with them for
a while before setting out on his own with glove puppets.
It is interesting that Arthur (nicknamed Arturo and mentioned as such in the
'Peep Show' dedication) was usually referred to as 'Gair' as if that was his
first name rather than the surname of his wife.
The nickname Arturo harks back to the days when they were living in Florence
and consorting with Gordon Craig.
The National Puppetry Archive has a photo of those same marionettes.
