The December issue of Smithsonian Magazine features an article about hand-made Christmas Cards of various artists.  One shown is by Pablo Cano, who a caption reads is "noted for his Dada-based marionettes."  Sorry to say, I never heard of him.  But I did find this link to his website: http://www.canoart.com/musicalmarionettes.htm.

I don't think that he is a performer.
