It's weak and makes you lose time every layer you apply,because it adds virtually no strenght. My very favorite for strenght and precision is coffee filters, of the basket type. -You can apply the paper in large pieces which you paste on both sides and squish down to smaller crumpled size over the shape. I call this paper mache bark, and the method is described on my laboratory blog. www.creaturistelab.blogspot.com Nowadays I add a layer or two of smooth papre pieces, to smooth it down. -for a smoother finish, I add a few coats of a mixure I call Monster Bone, which is also explained on the afforementioned blog.
