Two hints on the coffee filters - it's important to tear rather than cut the
pieces, so that you have the little fibers visible around the pieces. These
fibers will help the pieces bond with each other, making it a fair bit
stronger. Oh, and try unbleached filters - it's what I've been told to use
(by Mathieu).
I think this has been mentioned before, but outdoor wood glue slightly
diluted I find ideal. Try Lepage.
I find puppets made from newspaper tend to wear and tear and fall apart over
time much easier than coffee filter puppets.
