Subject: [Puptcrit] Indian Shadow in America


Hey pupteers,

I received an inquirey from Molly Ross of Nana Productions concerning  
whether there are any performers of Indian shadow puppetry in the US.  
I could not even think of one. This is curious. There are quite a few   
Indonesian wayang performers, a small number of Chinese, even  
apparently a group in Boston that does Cambodian style-- but  
Indian ???  !!!

Does anybody have a clue? Especially in the Mid-Atlantic region.
