Subject: [Puptcrit] New phase for Muppets


I have not been able to reply to many of the interesting ideas that have come up here lately. Hobey, thanks for the kind works, I think I should hire you as my PR person, , but right now the pay would be lousy. Steven, I look forward to the beer and one of the rare times that Mime and lacrosse will be discussed at the same sitting.

Today at Disneyland and Disneyworld, new parades, or officially, "cavalcades" are appearing, with puppeteers performing Kermit and Miss Piggy. This is the first time that I am aware of that these puppets are performing live at the parks as a regular feature. This to me marks a huge shift for these characters, which I hope gives new life to the Muppets for the future. I have to go down to Disneyland to deal with a few more issues before the opening.
