*Automata,* in collaboration with *Ibex Puppetry*, presents* Bride of
Wildenstein =96 The Musical*, conceived and performed by Los Angeles-based
puppet artist, chanteuse, and high-art drag personality, *Marsian. Bride of
Wildenstein - the Musical *revolves around an aging socialite who grows fur
and claws in hopes of recapturing the attention of her philandering game
hunter husband. *Bride of Wildenstein =96 The Musical* investigates the idea
of the grotesque through the story of one woman=92s personal struggle, losing
her sense of self as her marriage dissolves. In her desperation, she takes
drastic measures to reinvent herself, including a series of surgical
procedures to become more cat-like. Although*, Bride of Wildenstein =96 The
Musical* is loosely inspired by tabloid accounts of the real life =93cat
woman=94, Jocelyn Wildenstein, it remains solely a work of fiction. In *Bride
of Wildenstein - the Musical*, *Marsian* gently turns the abrasive glare of
the mirror onto the face of the audience and poses the question*, Have you
ever gone too far for love?*

*Bride of Wildenstein -* *The Musical *features tragic-comedic book and
lyrics by long-time writing duo *Marsian* and *P.J. McWhiskers*, original
music that creates a quirky and intimate cabaret-like atmosphere composed
and performed by *Josh Senick*, eerie mood lighting by Brandon Baker, and
innovative transformational costumes co-designed by *Lee Frank Perez Vargas
*and *Hunter Wells*.

*"If you're a fan of the glee-fully debauched Rocky Horror picture show or
the irreverent humor of South Park then you're doubtlessly in for a treat."
*- *Katie Ball, 89.9 FM WCUF, Orlando FL***

*Reservations are strongly suggested*. There will be limited seating for
each show. Tickets are $15 for General Admission, or $12 for students,
seniors or members of *Automata* or *The Velaslavasay Panorama*.
