Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] Daniel Loeza - The Frog Pianist

I saw Daniel last summer on Las Ramblas. Members of puptcrit charged
me with the task of bringing back pictures of his control mechanism
of his frog. Daniel was most gracious, giving us lots of time in
between shows answering questions, trying out his controls, and
letting us photograph his control (but alas, black (control) on black
(night time, background, etc) is not so clear, and the photos weren't
so great) It is quite a sculptural/technical work and VERY heavy!

He said at that time that he had been moved to a less lucrative part
of Las Ramblas, and so it was more of a struggle. Barcelona was very
expensive and he was looking to move back to Mexico, I believe.
But... that's all I know.
