The basic Yale Puppeteers group was Harry, Forman Brown & Roddy Burnett, to the end of their lives. Bob Bromley worked with them in the early 1930s on Olvera Street. Dorothy Neuman, a partner of Turnabout Theater (begun 1941) was another student at Yale Drama School, where she met Harry. I am pretty sure Meyer Levin did a marionette movie in Hollywood with Blanding Sloan, using Black marionette characters including an updated vrsion of "Rastus".. _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org Admin interface: http://lists.puptcrit.org/mailman/listinfo/puptcrit Archives: http://www.driftline.org
