Subject: [Puptcrit] Pre 1958 European Puppet films



Hark! Dear Puppet Critters,
Please excuse the following request for your assistance in locating pre 1958 puppet films from Europe. Of particular interest are films by these Polish puppeteers:  Zenon Wasiliewski; W. Haupe; Edward Sturlis; as well Haupe and Bielinska. Are there copies available for purchase or rental? PAL DVDs seem to play on our new dvd player so that is not an issue. We are working in the public schools creating original puppets and stories that are being documented over the present school year. For us, the films by the artists listed are inspiring, challenging, and provide an education in examples of old school craftsmahip. We greatlly appreciate your help!
