Er, sorry if there was confusion. I'm not using The Foam Book as the basis
of the course, but patterns I created from what I learned from the book. I
found the book to be really good, but a lot of beginners prefer using a
paint-by-numbers pattern. So my course/patterns are more of an accompaniment
to the book in that sense.

... Also, my course was originally going to be local for Aussies, but due to
personal reasons had to cancel. Obviously those of us in Australia can't
easily take Drew's workshop (although it would be brilliant if we could!).

If you need more contact with humans you could take the author of the
book, The Foam Book, Drew Allison's work shop at PuppetFest MidWest
July 6-11 2010 in Trenton Mo check out the site (if it is back up and
working.. something to do with sprinklers and computer rooms) at
www.puppetfestival.org . Can't make it this year Drew will be there in
2011 too, those dates are July 5 - 11, 2011. Always happy to sneak in a
plug for an independent Annual puppet festival. Peter Allen
