It's not exactly whimsy but a lot of the short adult stories of Roald Dahl have a real nasty sense of humour, and some only feature a few charactes. There's 'Sredni Vashtar' by Saki, which is an adult look at childhood and childhood's Gods...actually, a lot of Saki's stories can be pretty amusing, though I'm not sure if they all acream adaptation by puppet theatre. -Alexander On Sun, Feb 7, 2010 at 4:19 PM, <puppetpro-AT-aol.com> wrote: > I always thought that the Book of Job could be adapted for hand puppets... > > > Rolande > > > > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Robert Rogers <robertrogers-AT-robertrogerspuppets.com> > To: puptcrit-AT-puptcrit.org > Sent: Fri, Feb 5, 2010 10:19 am > Subject: [Puptcrit] search for a play > > > I am trying to find a lighthearted one act play for adults that features a > few > characters, which I can perform with handpuppets.
