Hi, Brad,
I do hope it gets solved for you real fast.

There is another possibility, but it is far less likely, although quite
real, for I have witnessed it first hand.

Some people emit some kind of interference that affects electronic
equipement.

As a salesperson in an art supply store, one customer was standing far away
from the cash register, which was a computer. I asked her what was up, and
she said if she came any closer, our computer would shut down. I reassured
her that it wouldn't, she sighed, stepped forward, and our network of four
computers (two were in the basement) shut down and wouldn't restart.

I had to enter her purchases on paper. As soon as she left, we finally were
able to turn the computers back on.

As an early teenager, I kept having to reset the time on my wristwatches,
for some energy in me would make it stop or throw the time out of whack.
Thankfully, it all went away with time!
