Hobey, get a pair of noise cancellation headphones.  You don't need the 
over-priced version from Bose.  Less expensive models are just as good if 
not better.  You don't need to listen to music either.  Just let the 
headphones create an environment of silence.  And if you do listen to music 
or watch a video, there won't be the constant roar of the jet engines in the 
background.
