On the subject of Russia puppetry, someone once showed me photocopies of
some really wonderful and inventive puppet stages that I strongly suspect
were designs by Sergei Obraztsov (or other artists working at this theatre).
Unfortunately, the text was in Russian. I have brought this up on Puptcrit
before, but can't seem to find the discussion in the archives...does anyone
have any idea what book these might be from? I would love to find it or the
designs and look at them again.
