Subject: [Puptcrit] Wireless headset microphone systems?

Hello Puptcritters who have knowledge of many (if not all) things,

There are so many brands and prices in the wireless headset microphone
system world. Prices range from under $100 to $1000's of dollars. We've
been playing small venues (50 - 100 people) without amplification but we're
moving into the 300+ audience size venues. If you have recently purchased a
wireless system can you share your advice, price, brand (brands to buy and
brands to avoid) experience with me?

I currently use a Yamaha Stagepass portable PA and have a single VHF Sam Ash
brand of wireless headphone. It ain't the cream of the crop but it has been
adequate. I need to have 3 wireless mic's all working together. My goal is
to stay under $1500 (and considerably lower priced functional stuff would be
even better). If you have a system that you have outgrown but is in good
working condition I'd be interested in talking with to too.

Thanks
