Subject: [Puptcrit] Peter Arnott in Chicago


Hello everyone,

A few months ago, I asked the list for information about classical
plays performed by puppeteers in Chicago, and I was thrilled to
receive so much useful information.  I am now focusing on Peter
Arnott's puppet plays that have toured to Chicago, and I was wondering
if anyone had any information on these performances.  I know that
Arnott performed Cyclops and Medea at the National College of
Education in 1970, as well as Oedipus and The Bacchae at the Reynolds
Club Theatre in 1979.  Is it possible that anyone out there has seen
these shows or has archival information about them?  I know that
Harvard has Arnott in their archives, but sadly I will not be able to
make that trip in the near future.  Any information would be much
appreciated.
