Besides being the name of an old woman friend of mine i always thought of maya as being a veil (as in wearing a veal to not reveal oneself). Here as a veil not revealing the true nature of things. Although this certainly not being in disagreement with what you wrote. And. Being rather intelectually veiled myself i may be misunderstanding the whole concept. Erik
