I would argue that there is a good case for wondering why we ever left the
trees. The lives of our fellow primates are often wonderful!!! Many howler
monkeys, for example, spend most of their time sleeping, and the rest of the
time eating, hopping from tree to tree, and fucking. Sounds good to me! If
with all our technology we can't do better, something's really wrong.

And being a human does not of necessity entail being human-centric. And being
me does not necessarily mean being me-centric ... i can be decentered ....
