I don't have an ideology, I just stand for the concept of freedom and assess
everything from that point. I don't have hard and fast rules for things, and I
don't feel the need to protect my belief system as a seperate entity. My
beliefs are me, and not some construct I had spoonfed to me.

To say that I'm just trying to score points is completely laughable. You
haven't been paying attention to what I've been saying for the two years that
I've been on this list. I've consistently advocated the position that as far
as anarchism is concerned its diversity is its strength. There's something for
everybody. If you're concerned about class struggle, you can get with the IWW
or the IWA. If you're concerned about feeding the homeless, then Food Not
Bombs is willing to take you in. All these numerous cooperatives - too many to
list, and no other branch of politics can claim anything close - enrich the
whole, and make the move to a more liberatory society more powerful and more
able to withstand those that would attack us.

The aphorism "don't believe your own press" applies here.

Jamal, you've confused me with Murray Bookchin, who stated in a letter to Z
Magazine a year ago that he'd rather see anarchism die with him than to see
"lifestylism" (as Bookchin defines it) continue. I'm sure someone can provide
the exact quote.

While we're at it, we should excommunicate that anti-semite Bakunin, that
sex-addict Goldman, and that World War I-supporting Kropotkin. Who needs them
or their ideas?
