Oh come on! Punk hasn't been a threat since 1980. Do you see parents
getting more bent out of shape over punk or Marilyn Manson?

The only punker I respect are folks like PE or Positive Force in DC. At
least they are trying to create a political alternative to the current
system.

The problem with punk is that it isn't political enough and punk rockers
know that. I'm not saying that every punk song should be a political
screed, but that the DIY stuff needs to be developed more. Hell, I don't
want to see more fake political bands like RATM.

sleeve."

Yeah, you could also find the "Anarchist Cookbook" in the photo of the
sleeve of that one album. Boy, are they deep politically.
