This joking about "real" names is hilarious. Nothing wrong with the name
"Erik", but who ever said you were "stuck" with it? What's a name? It's what
you choose to be called! Therefore that can change at any time you choose! The
whole idea of a "real" name is absurd, because all it does is validate the
law, which would be an odd anarchist practice. When people ask for my "real"
name, I ask, oh you mean what the state authorities call me on my driver's
license? Or the set of syllables someone else chose for me at my birth? What
has that got to do with me? I'll choose what I'll be called, thank you very
much.
