Good luck.

I can only sympathise. My wife has rheumatoid arthritis which may or 
may not get bad. When I wake up, I think 'ah nice sunny day etc.,' 
then within a nano-second 'oh shit'.

Also when anyone tells you to be positive, shout at them for being 
crass.

Having said that....

.....Stephen Hawking who was sporty fit and a dosser at Oxford, said 
in an interview that his motor neurone disease freed his mind to roam 
the universe. Prof at Cambridge, Brief History of Time and even an 
appearance on Star Trek. 

Chris would do well to remember that, but he's young and fit.
