We did fetal pigs too.  The girls in the class cut off all of the snouts 
then removed the brains and eyes.  They wrapped up the snouts and brains 
in wads of toilet paper and placed them in the lockers and purses of 
their "friends" as a joke. They played ping pong with the eyes.  The 
girls in my class were far more ghoulish than the boys.  So much for 
that squeamish girl stereotype.  It has been years since that day, and I 
still don't fully trust the female of the species. *g*
