Don't think that the militaries will be that much of a problem, I think at the point of a revolution the armies will probably be part of the revolution (maybe not the officers, but who needs them?), or at least they won't be willing to kill the population of their own country... remember the words of Darth Vader: "Luke, I am your father.", they won't kill their own 'family'. Ok, I guess you weren't talking about such a situation where the masses already were willing to change, more about a minority who has to fell their decision, and in that case it's right, there are alternatives to fighting, much better alternatives... I don't completely agree about that, it's still our choice when and how we will use violence (with violence I mean defensive violence, don't want to do the same like in the french revolution, the guillotine was used much too often). And by the way, if we are forced to use violence, I'd prefer to worry about it... May we not have to use violence and... May the force be with you:) Marius PS I got somehow confused while writing this mail, sorry when things got unclear, I even believe to not have said what I intended, too... sorry... ++++ stop the execution of Mumia Abu-Jamal ++++ ++++ if you agree copy these 3 sentences in your own sig ++++ ++++ see: http://www.xs4all.nl/~tank/spg-l/sigaction.htm ++++ Quoth the raven, "Nevermore."
