A particular problem appears to be US soya products, >where they don't keep the organically grown stuff separate from the >'Frankenstein Food' as our tabloids so coolly understate it. hey andy >From what i hear, our stateside cousins aren't too worried about "genetically modified organisms" they've had these frankenstein foods in their bread and pesto sauce for over a year now, and i don't think there's been much public reaction. i stand to be corrected by those in the new world on that count. i think the world is leaving it down to us europeans to get all flustered about such things (although i hear that there's a big grass roots movement in India against gmo's) On that subject, i heard recently that they've found the first case of cross-polination, after monsanto et al. said it was impossible. but i don't believe it - how could a good-old-boys multinational be wrong about such things? mokey
