oh i get it, fantasy island.  yes i do remember that program, and as a
monster fan of eighties teevee then i guess i should have got the
reference.  was that the program with the little midget?

and i must contend that that's the sort of defeatist attitude that led to
thirty years of violence.  i remember, during the troubles, that whenever
people even suggested that there could be a temporary peace they were
laughed at.  it was only when brave men (no, in fact, mostly John Hume) set
out to prove the sceptics wrong that we acheive something.
