What I meant was that anarchism was wrapped up in the whole 'reds under 
the bed' and Mccarthiest pushes against socialism. Of course this still 
doesn't make any sense because anti-vietnamh protests were extra strong 
and i theink they had a strong anarchist element. On the other hand this 
was also the time when australias only communist member of parliment 
ever was wounded by a policeman when organizing workers strikes (he 
never recovered and he didn't remain in parliment) and the government 
did nothing to dicsiplen the policemen involved. So its hard to make out 
anything at all of these times.
