Well, I just sent a post showing that the "Sun"
is now saying "no ground war". Believe it or not,
the "Sun" is actually being less warlike than 
the population as a whole. Opinion polls here 
are showing that the Brits are more enthusiastic
for another war than any other European country, 
with majority support for sending ground troops in.  
I am definitely out of step with public opinion here!
The trouble is, we weren't involved in Vietnam.
It is a long, long time since Britain lost a war.

If British troops do go in, expect Scottish regiments
at the front, with the bagpipes playing. Now 
that would  _really_  make things awkward
for those peaceniks in the SNP.
