We used to eat flying ants in Africa.  You just pick em off the sidewalk (where
they bake to a crisp when they die) and chomp.  Crispy and tasty, like... erm...
flying ants.  High in protein I'm told.  After the rainy season, there are usually
hundreds to go around and there's no argument about cruelty here:  they died
natural deaths.  (well the sidewalk was too hot but that's not the point)
