Maybe because no kosovars are going to be left by the time NATO's finished their
little tantrum?  Then arm refugees who've barely had enough food or water over the
last few months?  Fighting an organised army sans tanks?  I'm not putting my hands
up for that fight although you and roger might just be up for it :).

The fact is that a solution could possibly take more than a century to settle.
Look at Palestine - the Israelis were the terrorists in Palestine till 1948, then
suddenly the Palestinians were the terrorists in Israel.  Half a century later,
there's been some progress but there's still plenty of madmen and butchers to go
around... I don't see how the entire region of the former Yugoslavia is going to
be much different, short of a S'pore-style mass-brainwashing exercise.
