Well, sometimes a worker just lets go.  Recently, there was a case of a 
Connecticut lottery worker who went on a rampage and killed or wounded 
several of his bosses before killing himself.  I read about his grievances, 
and they had truly treated him like shit.  Although I certainly would never 
encourage this behavior, it does have the salutory effect of making some 
bosses hesitate just a bit before behaving like the swine they are paid to 
be.
