Theoretical communists are considered "left" aren't they?

Practicing communists then are what?   "Left?"   Or "right" since they are
hell-bent on practical authoritarianism?

But at what point does a commmie jump from one end of the spectrum to the
other? 

Or if they don't, then does this mean that practicing commies are down on
the same end of the "spectrum" as anarchists who claim the "leftist"
label?

Sorry.  I'd rather not be in the same room as the commies, let alone
standing next to them at the neighborhood bar graph.
