<< None at all, could you restate what you were saying then, because I
obviously didn't understand.  Are you seriously saying that you believe it
is possible to both predict and control every action another individual
might make? Or are we caught up in some esoteric intellectual quagmire about
free will? Ben. >>

<<I'm not saying it's totally possible to predict someone's actions.  Well
at least not without knowing their entire past to every detail.  Surely the
actions people take on you effect your personality such as making you
insecure or agressive.  I think that personality and decision making go hand
in hand.  As events effect your personality, they are doing the same to your
decision making process.  Maybe I'm a lunatic, but I don't see what else
could shape out decision making process.

yeah, but you really gotta be carefull with that kinda argument, cause it
can border on profiling, and characterizing people, basically what was a
huge part of the littleton events. (kids being alienated because they are
typecast into certain gorups, and then donning that as their identity)...
and i mean, how often has that kind of mentality basically fostered the will
to commit certain actions. jesus, in high school me and my friends wanted to
destroy the school for alot of reasons, but MAINLY just cause everyone
expected us to~!! felt like givin em a dose of poetic justice(but now i'm
much more fond of hakim bey styled "poetic terrorism"... more fun too!)

we actually did run amok with guns once, albiet toy guns, and only shot at
each other.... basically jsut to show up the people who had labled us. if we
had done that since the littleton incident we would have been locked up for
sure. but man, now i feel even worse for kids these days who can't even
play with cap guns(a kid was arrested for firing one around here on school
grounds).... and already it's open season on kids in the inner city.
