No, i'm from the other, more historic, protestant, anglo-irish one.  The
one with the book of kells and millions of american tourists.  They spit at
the lower, pathethic ugly architectural UCD here in Trinity.  In their
false english "Trinity accents," of course.

But as for the republicans on campus, well there are a whole bunch of them
here too.  Sinn Fein is small but vocal, and there are a bunch of
extremists (real nutters) in the so called Socialist Society.  It wouldn't
surprise me if there were a real- or republican IRA contingent here - a
friend of mine from the north told me he was approached by a rather dodgy
looking character a while ago.

Personally I've had my run ins with republicans, and stay well clear of
them now.  A mixture of dogma and veiled threats convinced me that they
weren't worth talking to.
