Carp: You should check out the full article in Counterpunch (hell, I'll
make copies and send them to you). The writers point out the long
history of German interests in Yugoslavia. They also point out that the
Serbs were bombed in WW2 by the Germans, Hungarians, and others. In
1999, they are being bombed by the Germans, Hungarians, and others.

I don't think the upgrade will happen for several years. This is likely
to be Vietnam 2.
