I was in Greece, only thing of interest was that we knocked up two stray fascists and torched a police car. Then back in Paris we had our first of May festivities. A party in front of the stock exchange the night before, two molotov cocktails were thrown at the building but unfortunately they hit the columns right in front and didn't make it inside. We also found out the podium for the next day's FN rally was not to far away so we headed over there to amuse ourselves a bit, about 50 of us, but unfortunately we were met with a very strong DPS ( FN militia ) presence, plus some dogs, plus some cops, so we didn't even risk a fight. Very embarassing. We'll be back next year. At about 2:30 am the cops charged, we resisted as much as possible with bottles rocks and whatever else was in reach, but eventually they pushed us back onto a small street, we ran out of ammo and not to mention the fact that most of our people were piss drunk and so resistance to the CRS wasn't terribly friutful ( could that be a case for Straight-Edge?! ). The Mayday demo was very good. We were about 40 000 at the LEFT WING demonstration, which included ANARCHISTS. About 700 in the CNT section of the demo which was very good. Oh, by the way, the CNT noow has about 4 000 members and is considered on of the *extreme left-wing* organizations with the most militants! The Anarchist Federation was also there but a dismally small presence. So there hasn't been all that much action in Paris lately. We did occupy ( about 500 people ) an Air France office about a month ago. We made a little barricade but the cops got by it very fast and after a bit of resistence ( I had my jacket ripped by three CRS who were trying to take me, needless to say that they eventually succeeded, but I'm proud of the fact that it took three of them quite a while to get me down ). Eventually there were 369 arrests, six injuries, and strong media converage, which was good. There is a demonstration for Palestine coming up soon, and then it's of to Cologne, Germany for the May 29th European demo. Revolutionary Syndicalist greetings, Nicolas G. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
