Carp: I don't think anybody won this one, not even the United States.
The U.S. has managed to convince the rest of the world that it is a
rogue superpower, so we'll probably see some regional alliances develop
to contain the American threat. That will do wonders for "national
security." People will laugh whenever the U.S. claims to do something
for humanitarian reasons. The way the U.S. flouted domestic and
international law gives a green light to states around the world to use
violence to solve their petty disputes, as in the current Pakistan-India
conflict. Around 40% of Americans have been hoodwinked into supporting
an unjust and illegal war, with the liberals and their "progressive"
ass-kissers showing their true colors. The American media once again
reported one side of the war, although the alternative media was able to
take a few chunks out of their shielding.

In Europe, many folks outside of Yugoslavia are going to have to deal
with widespread environmental pollution, including radiation from
uranium-depleted ammunition. Of course, the people of Yugoslavia,
including the Kosovan Muslims, are going to suffer the most in years to
come, what with the infrastructure bombed into a state similar to Iraq
or Nicaraugua (post Hurrican Mitch).

And the U.S. was so cowardly they couldn't even send in ground troops.
It's real easy to destroy a country when your primary experience of it
is with a joystick from 30,000 feet.

Yup, lots of winners all around.
