I believe i have done all i can to help my own child in understanding, and continue to do this. She is at ease with the situation, and certainly not confused. Still, i believe this is besides the point in how others than direct relations to the transgendered person should refer to them. I don't expect homosexuals in this group to be called fags any longer, and would expect the same respect for transgendered persons, or is ignorance once more becoming a valid excuse? Su.
