Movies, everyone loves to watch a good movie. It so happens that a lot of good movies are Rated R. Wheres the problem? im over 17 no big deal eh? well im not 21 yet, and that's where the problem lies. My brother is under 17, and im his "Legal" guardian right? Wrong, according to this great new "Law" that i didn't vote for (or any of us) it makes it so Theaters can choose whatever they want as the "Legal" guardian. i have 4 Theaters just in the area i live in. two are age 25 and above, and two are 21 and above. Sooo my point is that if you are 20, and you bring your 14 year old brother to see a Rated R movie, they dont sell you a ticket. whats even worse they have Three "Checkpoints" before you can even get into sit down. So we have to all put up with this, and cant do squat about it. i called my worthless congressman, and i was told it was a bill passed by Good ol Bill, and so its in stone, period. and they give theaters huge fines if they fuck up, and let someone under 17 in with out parental consent. and your screwed if you dont have parents. i even went as far as saying, my parents are dead, i am his legal guardian. the manager, or robocop to some, still said he couldn't do anything for me with out "proof" i hate this law, i am so pissed about it, and i have NO idea where to start to rid the great american public of this violation of our so called rights. please, if you have any insight, if this has happened to you, or if you feel im full of shit, please reply, im looking foward to your answers.
