Subject: Fwd: MUMIA: Execution set for December 2

I really can't believe the government intends to get as many
people and political activists of all stripes pissed off as it
is going to be executing Mumia Abu Jamal. Even many
advocates of the death penalty who believe Mumia killed
the police officer easily can imagine that it happened in
self-defense and that he should not be killed. Opponents
of the death penalty who believe he is innocent must be
particularly outraged.
Let me remind you all this is a good time to think about
tax resistance, and particularly "war tax resistance." I myself
stopped paying federal income tax in 1976--and have
resisted several state taxes, including because they had
the had the death penaly. Check out the National War
Tax Resisters web page. Many war tax resisters also
are concerned about police brutality, the death penalty
and increasing militarization of law enforcement and
encourage those who are concerned with these issues,
and also oppose US militarism and interventions
to join us. Taking away the murderers' money!!
