I remember "Granny gets the point" - a 1971 British film explaining decimal coinage. The shop-keeper was barely restraining his disdain at the dithering and confused senior citizen. Even weider as we were moving from multiples of 12 pence to 1 shilling and 20 shillings to one pound, to 100 pence = 1 pound. Grannies all over were sneering and wondering if it were a plot to ridicule them and soften up the populace for euthanasia. Andy
