Dave's Insanity Sauce may be the wirst tasting hot sauce ever invented.
The people use an alcohol distillation method to extract reasonably pure
capsacian from peppers. It doesn't matter what kind of peppers they use,
cap is cap. I have a fireman friend who makes "Backdraft" which is
an extract sauce, just as hot, but he uses onions, garlic, and spices to
make it palatable.

Scoville-wise DIS is around 500,000 which is less than Tabasco Crab Boil
and right at a Red Savina habenero pepper. It's more than commercial
tear gas pepper spray.

One thing Dave's is good for is surreptiously putting a few drops on the
door handles of cop cars as you walk by. The stuff stays on for weeks and
when a copper uses his hand to open the door and then rubs his eyes or
takes a leak, well, instant insanity.

I have had a bottle for years. I mix 1/4 of it into 5 gallons of water and
spread the water onto my garden. Keeps the moles out.

Shoot, I think it blinds them.

It also keeps that white crud from developing on a car's battery posts.
