I'm agnostic myself, but I thought it used Christianity to make a very interesting case against the State. Remember, we may oppose organised religion, but we can't reject all spirituality. As long as people understand that they are free to interpret and question, there is nothing wrong with personal religion. ------------------------------ I'm not sure what you mean by organized but i believe religion is organized by it's nature. I'm not against it - to me it just depends on _how_ it's organized. In fact i think 'organized' religion could bring a lot to an anarchist society that would otherwise be lacking. Christianity on the other hand cannot go down well with anarchism. I think it's basicaly true to say that christianity is a slaves morality and i think it's basic concepts are reveal that. What i'd like to see is a religion without so much hard to swallow concepts in it - then maybe i'd give up atheism... cheers, Ben _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Men passionately desire to live after death, but they often pass away without noticing the fact that the memory of a really good person always lives. It is impressed upon the next generation, and is transmitted again to the children. Is not that an immortality worth striving for? ___________________________________________ http://brkb.tripod.com/home.html _________________________________________________________ Fast and Free E-mail.
